Nathan Daniel Deich

Nathan Daniel Deich

He was born July 19th 2011
11:32 pm
7 lbs 11 ounces 20 inches

I had a doctors appointment on July 19th. I went to the appt. and the doctor asked me when I was due. I told her July 20th. She took me in the back and placed me on a monitor for 20 mins and then gave me an ultrasound to measure my fluids. After all that she then checked me to see how far I was dialated. I was 3 to 4 cm. She said that my fluid was low, too low for her liking so she sent me off to the hospital. I called my friend Desiree and told her what was going on and she took Matt for us. We had lunch and I was trying to push it off as much as I could since my mom's flight was cancelled the day before and was flying in today. Her flight didn't get in until 7:30 pm and our great friends Nick and Jessica A were going to bring her to us from the airport. We got to the hospital around 12:30 pm had my upper by 2 pm. All day my contraction were 2 mins apart and still was in the 4 cm range. They gave me potassium
and everything. My mom finally arrived around 9:30 pm. Within an hour of her being there Nathan went from 4 cm to 8 cm. I am pretty sure he was waiting for her to get there to see him born. She hasn't missed the birth of any of her grand kids yet! Finally he arrived. I cried cause I wasn't sure how in the world I can raise 2 boys. I am scared to death. Not only that he was going to be born on his uncle Jareds birthday. Talk about not hearing the end of it. LOL

My big baby boy. He was only 1/2 an ounce shy from Matthew. Matthew was 7 lbs 11.5 ounces. and 19 inches long. Husband calls me the baby making machine. I have perfect kids. They all come out just about the same size. LOL

Matthew wasn't to sure of his baby brother just yet. But now he is such a great big brother. He has helped us out so much. From getting diapers, to holding him, and he even wants to take him to one us. Matthew is 42 lbs and can really hold his own. I am really proud of Matthew. He has done really well with his potty training too.

Family Pictures

We all had a wonderful time. We stayed on the beach in a condo that had 3 bedroom and we all had our own bathrooms. We swam and pretty much did what we wanted the entire week. The boys went deep sea fishing, while us girls and Matthew went shopping at John's pass. We even got our family pictures done too on the beach. Thanks to a wonderful photographer named Tina Sargeant. Here is her website http://www.sargeantstudios.net/ you should really check her out if you are in the Clearwater, Redington Shores area.

Matthew doing what he does best. Playing in the sand with his cars. If we left him alone long enough he would smile for us. He did a great job with everything and was patient too. There where 9 of us getting our pictures taken.
This one is my favorite picture of just me and my baby boy. Or should I say both of my baby boys even though Nathan isn't really here yet in those pictures.

Here is our Pregnancy Photo that we had done as well. It's my husband and mine hands in a shape of a heart. I really thought it turned out really well.
This is another one of my favorites. I have seen this done on a lot of friends websites who are Photographers. We did with all 8 of us too. With the sunset in the back ground it just made it just right. I am surprised how far off the ground I got with being 34 weeks pregnant.

There really isn't anything I can really say about this one, It's just perfect photo of my son's foot.

Leah's Blanket

I finally finished Leah's blanket before we went on our trip to Florida in June with them. Most of you all know that I have been working on this blanket well before she made her presents into this world. I used all her colors in her room. Pink, brown, green (sage). I used a fun fabric on the back in case she wanted to play on the other side. I had it embroider by my father in law. He owns a embroidery business. If you need to have anything done please let me know.

MIA for a while!!!Iff

Man, a lot has been going on since November. We found out that we were moving to Fayetteville, NC cause my hubby got a government job with the army. I am thankful that I get to transfer my job as a Phlebomist down to Fayetteville and not have to start another JOB hunt. SO we had all our house good packed up and gone before Thanksgiving. We went to Jacksonville, FL for Thanksgiving. That was a lot of fun, Having the Deich family all together again minus on part of the family, Keri and the girls. After that Hubby and I went back to Maryland leaving Matthew with Grandma and Grandpa Deich for a week so we can clean the house up and getting our moving goods at the new house in Fayetteville on Dec 1st.

Finally got all our stuff here and had to go down and get Matt from the In-laws. That is when we got a surprise. We found out we will be expecting another little one. Don't know when yet since we have no insurance for 2 wks with the changing of jobs from contractor to DOD. We didn't know until Jan 3rd. Richelle had her baby boy finally on dec 6th. His name is Bryan. We got to see them at Christmas time it was great having family in for the holidays.

Jan 3 came around and at that point we are 12 wks and 2 days. Due July 20th. I am very happy but scared to death about having another one running around the house. Matthew is a hand full as it is. I am hoping for a boy and hubby thinks its a girl. We will see feb 25th of what we are having. Matthew has been going back and forth from calling the baby Mater and Lighting. Its so cute. With I hope its a boy so I can do the Car theme on his ultrasound pics.

Feb 25th is finally here. Hubby and I have our first date night tonight in a really really much needed long time. We have a bet, if its a boy i get to pick were we eat (Japanese restaurant) if it a girl we get to pick (brewery). Guess who wasn't shy about telling daddy what it was. Butt shot all the way and we are having a BOY!!!

We are naming our baby boy Nathan Daniel! Granted Matthew would rather name him Mater. LOL. Lately we have getting excited about his arrival. Matthew will see the ultrasound pics and say "my baby". We registered at Babies R us not a whole lot just the much need things like bottles, and paceys. Swaddle blankets, things like that.

Matthew had been having Play therapy and speech every week so that has been keeping him busy an awful lot. He is getting so much better at talking it nice to know what he wants. We have him enrolled for onces a week preschool starting in august and hope to have him in soccer if we don't miss sign ups. He loves to help daddy work. When daddy is working on something he says he's working. lol We just got a riding lawn mower and he is in love with it more than his daddy is. He tells us he wants to drive. KIDS!!!

I got a chance to go to Myrtle Beach with a group of wonderful ladies that I met on Meetup.com and we meet every tuesday and the third friday of every month for scrapbooking. It was a lot of fun and a much needed break. We have 2 vacations lined up this year before Nate is born. we are going to the mountains for easter break with the deich family. Then in June we are going to florida with my mom and stepdad and brother. Then we plan to take Matthew to see Cars 2 June 24th or so. He is so excited about seeing that movie.

Think we are finally caught up and will hopefully post more pics of all the things we are doing and have more craft projects in the works.

Hooded towels $10- $15

Here is one of the hooded towels I made for my niece Leah. I made her a green one, pink one and this brown one with her name one it. I learned this project from my besty Brandy. I also sell them for $10 w/out name or $12 to $15 with name. They are great for the pool, getting out of the bath tub too. They make great baby shower gifts, new baby gifts, birthdays, and etc. They grow with your child from infant to 10 if they want to. I really enjoy making this towels. I know my son loves them, he thinks he can fly around. Let me know if you are interested in buying one or want more information about them. Let me know through my blog or at adeich05@gmail.com. I would love to make them for you.
